Prince George’s North, formerly known as Region 5, will begin the Annual Fall Regional Assembly for the Episcopal Diocese of Washington at 6:00 PM on November 3, 2016, at:

St. John’s, Zion Parish, 11040 Baltimore Avenue, Beltsville, MD

There will be refreshments, a message from the Bishop, a meeting for the parish wardens, and most importantly, elections.  Currently, Vestry Member Diane Clark is the Lay Representative for our region as well as convener of the meeting.  Anyone can attend these meetings and they are good way to meet and greet members of other parishes in our region. 9:00 AM – ONE Holy Eucharist SERVICE in the SANCTUARY
10:15 AM – ANNUAL MEETING and VESTRY ELECTIONS in MILLER HALL

Reminder:  this Sunday February 7th there is ONE SERVICE at 9:00 AM, which will be followed by St. George’s Annual Meeting.

Bring your palms from last year’s Palm Sunday service if you would like to them to be burned for ashes for use at this year’s Ash Wednesday services next Wednesday.

Also, please note that along with voting for new vestry members and parish delegate on Sunday, the Outreach Committee is asking the congregation to vote on the 2016 Lenten Outreach Project recipient.
