St. George’s will be hosting the Safe Haven homeless shelter Sunday, February 22 through Sunday, March 1. There are many ways to help. All children and young people ages 4 through High school are invited to join Sunday School at 9:00am downstairs. Upcoming Sunday School dates are November 23 and December 7.
St. George’s Players is hosting an open mic night on Saturday, November 15. A time for St. Georgians to show off their talents. Anything goes from poetry reading, dramatic reading, singing, instrument playing, juggling, ant farms, you name it. Bring a friend, a favorite snack or beverage, and a favorite talent. The fun begins at 7:00pm.
Sunday, November 2nd is our Stewardship Ingathering, celebration of All Saints, and the baptism of Rachel Sophia Wilson. All are invited to come to our single service at 9:00 am and bring your completed pledge cards as we celebrate God’s blessings and God’s abundance. The festive service will be followed by brunch in Miller Hall – all are welcome and invited to stay and celebrate our life together.
On Saturday, November 1 at 7:00pm, St. George’s will celebrate its annual service of remembrance on All Saints Day. We remember and pray for all those who are buried in our cemetery, as well as anyone who has died that you would like to remember. Everyone is invited to attend. Join us for this special service in the Chapel on November 1 at 7:00. If you would like us to pray for someone you know who has died, please fill out the form you can find in the basket in the narthex. We will be collecting names through October 28th.
